Ciao! My name is Ilaria Danesi and I’m 24 years old. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies from Università degli Studi di Genova, the city where I was born. My interests include singing, better if accompanied by a guitar, but I'm learning to play the piano, hiking, and climbing in Nature, especially Mount Fasce, my sacred mountain close to my house. And science, of course. I studied chemistry because I want to work in sustainability and cosmetics should be a lot about that. I’m really grateful for joining Emotion, it’s so inspiring to work and study in such a
multicultural community. Here I have the opportunity to expand my knowledge regarding vast areas of study, from
pharmacological to medical, and also entrepreneurship and industry. Emotion gives me the chance to put into practice
my different interests at one time, processing new ideas! 

Hello! I am Martina Davoli from Italy, and I was born on December 31st in 1995. I graduated in Pharmacy after an amazing Erasmus experience at the Cardiff University, then I started working as a pharmacist. 

I have always been passionate about cosmetics: I spent hours watching make up videos when I was a teenager! When I found this Master I couldn’t believe it, it reunited everything I was looking for: the study of the cosmetic and dermatological fields with the possibility of another international experience. I am so glad I had the opportunity to join the team! About me: I love travelling (and of course meeting new friends with different cultures), socialising, eating good food with the people I love, and animals. Writing scientific articles is one of my passions, even if my biggest one is photography.

Now, you have! I am Desire, a Nigerian-bred pharmacist certified in cosmetic sciences who is passionate about skincare, writing, as well as sleeping, re-watching sitcoms and ice cream, of course.

I’ve had the opportunity to work as the brand development manager for Advantage Health Africa. However, my career started in hospital and community pharmacy.

EMOTION is a fusion of my obsession with skincare and training as a pharmacist, an excellent way to meet new people and immerse myself in different cultures. Ultimately, my goal is to create cosmetic products and spaces to make everyone confident in their skin.

Hello everyone! My name is Brenda Yazmín Faour, but I prefer to be called Yaz. I am an Argentinian Medical Doctor, and I am passionate about everything related to skincare and healthcare. Opening my own dermatological clinic would be my dream come true. In order to fulfill that purpose, I am planning to combine all the knowledge I will get in the EMOTION Master about dermatology, cosmetics, and entrepreneurship, with Aesthetic Medicine. My mission in life is to promote health and well-being in order to enhance people’s quality of life. The things I enjoy the most are traveling, training and having a great meal with my beloved ones. 

Hi, I'm Luis, I was born in Colombia. For as long as I can remember, science and research have been a source of passion for me. When I was 5 or 6 years old, in my free time, I tried to reproduce the experiments or inventions I saw on TV with what I had available at home. This passion grew progressively over the years, which led me to make the decision to study Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In my professional life I have had the opportunity to work with professionals from different disciplines and learn from them, which has allowed me to acquire the ability to think outside the box once. I have always thought that the important thing is not where you are going but that you are happy on the path you take to get there. And for me, the little pleasures in life like having a coffee, going to the movies, eating, traveling and playing volleyball make that road happy.

My name is Shannon and I’m from Ireland. I have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a

diploma in cosmetic science. I love travelling, running, yoga and the outdoors. One of the

best things about travelling is having the opportunity to become friends with people from all over the world and EMOTION brings plenty of opportunities for that. Being able to pursue my masters abroad with international classmates, full of diversity is a privilege and the experience of a lifetime.

I was born on December 13th 1997 ( I am a sagittarius) in Madrid, Spain, where I lived up until I was 17, when I decided to move to Germany to pursue a degree in Applied Biology.Once I finished my degree I decided to try my luck in the pharma industry and joined a Masters Degree in Drug Development. I soon started an internship as Business Developer in a small Spanish CRO where I was eventually hired and worked up until starting this new adventure. I have always loved trying and learning new things, which is why I have many hobbies and weird skills that may surprise you such as starting fires (safely, I would never burn down a forest) or singing entire musicals (yes, I play all the parts at once). I am also incredibly passionate about animal welfare and the environment, which is why I hope to work with a vegan or sustainable copany one day, (or who knows, even create my own). I’m a 26 year old pharmacist born in Amman-Jordan. After graduation, I worked as a Responsible pharmacist and Teaching assistant. In 2018, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in pharmacology at University of Jordan, during studying I worked with many startups as Content creator and Cosmetic ingredient specialist, and I noticed that experience and knowledge in cosmetic field is much needed in my country. Therefore, in 2019, I started my own beauty blog on Instagram to spread my knowledge through online skincare courses to the public. Cosmetics have always been my passion and I wanted to expand my knowledge through EMOTION master. 

Hey everyone! Here is Kristina from Seshcha, Russia. I was born in a place where the whole year one can see airplaness surfing through the sky, and every August their paths are crossed with the traces of meteors. Such a breathtaking atmosphere made me half a dreamer, while another half of me is a problem-solver. These qualities affected the path I chose to pursue – becoming a tissue engineer in the dermatological field to help people with skin traumas and burns recover more quickly and enjoy their lives. This, and the eternal passion for studying, encouraged me to apply for the Emotion Master. Aside from studying, I enjoy playing the violin, making nail-design, socializing, green tea, and cats. 

Hi! I’m Pilar, a Spanish chemist born in 1998. I’m a cosmetics enthusiast and I’d love to contribute to the search for the most sustainable chemical processes to formulate them. Some of my hobbies include travelling, learning languages, cooking, videogames and doing resin artwork. I’m a person who simply wants to enjoy the little things in life such as spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying good food or discovering new places. My passion for chemistry, makeup and travelling made me determined to choose EMOTION as the next step of my academic career and also for my personal development.

Hi everyone! 

My name is Maria. I was born in Greece and then moved to Albania, where I grew up and graduated as a Pharmacist. During my last years at University I was part of the organizational staff in several scientific conferences and then I worked for more than a year as a Specialist Pharmacist in Tirana.

However, I would mention as my greatest experience my Internship at RECUSOL Laboratories, where I fully dedicated my research to cosmetics formulations and preparations. At that point, I discovered that I belonged to the research world and that I could find a second home here in Italy. For these reasons, I chose to pursue the EMOTION Master. 

My other passions also include music, art and photography. I love traveling, exploring new cultures and learning foreign languages.

Hey I’m Erica, 23, from the Philippines. My background is in chemistry and materials science and engineering, but what really inspired me to pursue EMOTION was my experience living with a skin condition. This is

what opened my eyes to the world of medical cosmetics, and since then, the curiosity about the dermatological sciences was born in me. Through EMOTION, I hope to learn enough to enable me to achieve my goal of creating sustainable and accessible products that effectively address skin diseases. In my spare time, I like to learn languages, experiment in the kitchen, and watch movies.

Hola, my name is Anusha! I am a Spaniard of Finnish and Indian descent living in Italy, having just spent 6 years in the UK. After studying at the University of Glasgow and completing a degree in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry, I worked in an R&D company for a year. Now, I am ready to embark upon my next adventure with EMOTION, which enables me to follow my true passion for creating my own cosmetics. I am a strong believer in celebrating diversity and aim to create the cosmetics world a more inclusive place. I love cooking, travelling and playing volleyball as well as looking after my endless collection of plants!

Hi there! I’m Aljon, your purpose-driven and goal-oriented chemical engineer buddy from the beautiful island of Cebu in the Philippines. With over 5 years working experience in research and development for SMEs and multinational companies in the personal care and cosmetics industry, I have developed and formulated products for hair, face, body, and even the armpits to keep them feeling fresh! Because of my passion for learning, I have decided to pursue the EMOTION Master to better understand the science of cosmetics and dermatology. As a hobby, I love to play badminton and smash all my stress away! I also love to travel, discover the world, and meet friends along the way!

Halo! (Hello in Indonesian Language), my name is Karima from Indonesia my friend called me Karima, Kai or Icebear (because they said I look like one). I am a pharmacist who graduated with specialization in Natural Product Pharmacy. I love travelling and sharing (I usually share my knowledge about Skincare and Herbs using Instagram @orangestalk ! I love phytochemistry, but somehow life gave me another opportunity as I landed as GMP Audit Management in a Pharma-Company. I have been working with a lot of different standards, regulations and travelled around the world to conduct Supplier Quality System Audits. Another side of me is I have been an acne fighter for 12 years and I have a dream to help others that share the same journey as I am by creating affordable and good quality skincare. As I am really familiar with regulation and systems in the factory, I realize that I am lacking in the research and development skills so becoming a part of EMOTION master will be a milestone to make my dream come true.

Hi!! I am Isabela, 24 years old, and I was born and raised in Imbituba, a small town in southern Brazil. In 2019 I obtained my degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, I’ve dedicated myself to studying cosmetic formulation by doing short courses and also worked with quality management systems and regulatory affairs in cosmetics. My goal is to have my own business focused on skincare. By combining my professional goals with the dream I’ve always had of studying abroad, I chose EMOTION, where I could find all I needed to pursue my goals, develop my career, and myself. I am truly happy to be part of the team!! I find myself a very determined and positive thinking person! Meanwhile, in my free time, I like to practice music by singing, playing guitar, or the keyboards. 

Ciao! My name is Adriana and I am a Medical doctor from Brazil. 

During my studies (some of which completed in Spain), I did an internship in Dermatology and participated in multiple/several melanoma prevention campaigns: this helped me learn more about a subject I am very passionate about. My heart has always leaned toward the cosmetic field and the art of perfumery and to learn more about it I decided to join EMOTION. 

I also love travelling, drinking tea and sitting in cafés with good company.

I am a pharmacist and healthcare manager from Albania. After my graduation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Medicine, Tirana, I have worked as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy. I also pursued a master degree in health care management, an useful experience which helped me to obtain education in the field of management of health care organizations. 

My main interest, in addition to pharmaceuticals is also the development of skills related to the research and development of new cosmetic products, taking cue from my four years of experience as a specialist in the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Albania. 

Olá! My name is Artur, I’m 27 and I am a pharmacist from the South of Brazil. I am a very friendly and curious person who really likes challenges. During my free time, I enjoy traveling and having the possibility to know new cultures and places.

After graduating at the university, I decided to pursue a career in the cosmetic and dermatological field. In Brazil, I had the

opportunity to work for 3 years at a compounding pharmacy specialized in dermatology.

There, I could work alongside with the dermatologists on improving the patient’s quality of life by developing new and personalized cosmetics and pharmaceutical products to treat skin disorders.

EMOTION is going to be a great opportunity for me to combine my passions and develop new skills and knowledges. I really can’t wait for what is to come!

My name is Brandy Hernandez and I am a 23 year old Mexican American from California in the United States. I hold a degree in Biological Sciences from Notre Dame de Namur University near San Francisco CA. Some of my passions include reading, exploring, and playing volleyball. 

I am incredibly excited to be a part of the EMOTION family and to combine my knowledge and experiences with the diverse group in my cohort. Through this program I hope to be able to take my love and understanding of science and apply it to something that is used in my day to day life - cosmetics.

Hey there! My name is Margy. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. I obtained my degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2020 at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Being a child, I had my first contact with dermatological products while seeing my mom applying them on her face, which raised in me a deep interest in this type of products. Besides, developing my undergraduate thesis allowed me to discover my passion for the cosmetic industry, hence I decided to pursue my postgraduate studies in the EMOTION program. Last but not least, I am a cat lover, a smiley person, a dreamer woman, passionate about languages and personal growth, and I love traveling around the world to find out fascinated and inspiring places which make me dream. 

Hi everyone! My name is Anaïs and I was born in France but have lived around the world in places such as the USA and Japan. I originally studied Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at UC Davis before deciding to continue with this Master. I am really passionate about skincare and cosmetics (I mean who isn’t if you’re looking at this Master) and always have been because of my French heritage as well my personal obsession with trying skincare products! I also believe science is extremely important in everything we do and we can make the world better for ourselves and increase human well-being through it. My passions outside of school include running, singing, eating amazing foods, and traveling as much as possible. I can’t wait to continue to learn and really hope to bring a multicultural aspect to the cosmetic world after!
